As a Southern Baptist Church we partner with the Southern Baptist Convention in supporting six national seminaries that train ministers and missionaries. We also partner with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention in financially supporting over 3,500 missionaries world-wide.
FBCS exists to call and empower people to follow Jesus Christ and live biblically.

We understand that visiting a new church for the first time can leave you feeling a little apprehensive. We trust that this information will make it easier for you to walk through our doors.
Location
We are located on the Corner of Pilgrims Rest Road and Mountain View Drive in Southside, Alabama. There is guest parking in front of the main entrances to the lobby and main auditorium.
Nursery, preschool, and kids’ programs are available.
For anyone who would like to watch church online, our services are available at fbcs.online.church.
Nursery/Preschool
A clean, well-staffed nursery and preschool classes are available for children from birth to 4/5 years old. Parents can rest assured that their most valued treasure will be well cared for during the service.
Kids Church
Kids will have age-based breakout groups where they will learn Bible stories and enjoy engaging object lessons. Kids Church is taught by folks who really love children and know how to relate to them. Our FBCS kids love Kids Church and we trust yours will too!
What to Wear

Offering
As our guest, we want you to feel no obligation to give anything towards our offering. We pass plates and have offering boxes at the back of our main auditorium for our members and regular attenders of our church.
